"He Died for YOU!"

The popular teaching regarding Jesus' atonement, His suffering and death on the cross, is that Jesus died for everyone. You must then receive Christ, believing He paid the debt for your sin. The only difference, then, between you and an unbeliever, is that you chose to believe and they didn't. In that scenario, who gets the glory?? God made your salvation possible through Jesus' sacrifice on the cross, but YOU took the last step! Contrary to what most people believe, this is NOT what the Bible teaches. In this episode we'll look at what the Bible says about the "limited atonement," the truth that Jesus came to die for His sheep, for those whom God had chosen before He created the world. It is here that salvation becomes personal, as you discover once again that GOD saves you, from beginning to end, and He sent Jesus to suffer and die for YOU, and for all those whom He chose to be His.
